The Interface Leads cable program is developed and produced by KRAM Telecom and is included in our series of solutions for handfree installations. KRAM Telecom has since 1998 delvelped and produced solutions for installations og handsfree kit in cars. The products has been sold and used in more than 50 countries, often in cooperation with the carkit manufactorers.
The Interface Leads program offers a wide range of car specific solutions, to make the installation plug and play without cutting any wires in the car. The Interface leads are used in cars, which is prepared for handfree installation in the back of the radio, or in a seperate connector. The interface lead always require a carkit specific adapter.
With use of an Interface lead in a handsfree installation, you get power to the carkit and get the carkit connected to the speakers in the car. When you receive a call the radio will mute, and you get the conversation through the front speakers in the car. After the conversation the radio will start play again.
